Then there is the mother duck instructing her young along the river bank just off the point. Or maybe you'd like to head up river a piece and stalk some herons while they stalk their lunch. And of course that faithful pair of loons floating and bobbing down stream are always of interest.

Turkey vultures circling and song birds chirping add to the abundant number of feathered friends that visit us daily. Whether on the river, the shore, in the trees or in the bush,there are an incredible variety of birds in the area of Kagamaga.
