ollow the snowmobile track back towards the marina, the path back in to the kettle lakes or a trail through the crown lands in the direction of the railroad, regardless of destination you will be bound to stop along the way to take in the sights and sounds of the old growth forest that surrounds the Kagamaga Lodge.
You may be searching for one of the several beaver dams in the area or looking to come across the marshes and wetlands where the frogs are in chorus and the water lilies are blooming. Many a forest denizen is bound to cross your path.
Get up at the crack of dawn and see who you can spot feeding along the trail or grab your head lamps and go searching for eyes in the dark after night falls. It does not matter if you are a casual trail walker, backpacker or serious hiker, you will find much of interest in the lands around Kagamaga.
